Lost 2 stone... and Found Oodles of Confidence.
Like lots of people, I've lost weight in the past and then put it all back on. As a Nursery Nurse, I'm very active, but was always hiding beneath trousers and baggy tops. Working with other girls, there's always chit-chat about how we look and what we wear and I was very sensitive to what was said. When I stopped going out in the evenings, because I was worried about how I looked, I just knew that I had to do something about my weight
That's when I joined Slimtone.
It really was the best thing I could have done. The Lifestyle Plan suited me down to the ground. I quickly discovered that I could eat what I wanted. I was fascinated by how easily I could make changes in my diet - simple things like how many calories there are in butter for example. I started to pay attention to the portion size and to choose the healthy options when I am shopping.
The talks Marie gives each week in class were just so useful – and interesting too. Everyone in the class shared their ideas and experiences and that helped me too.
Now I have much more confidence. I love going out with the girls and I love to wear a dress or something that's really fashionable. And I am so much fitter and healthier, all because of the way I eat!
