Sarah joined Slimtone after she had her daughter Eleri and has lost 1 stone 8 lbs.
My Mum used to go to Slimtone and as a large teenager, I started going with her. I'd been coming and going over the years, but after I had my daughter, Eleri, none of my clothes fitted anymore. That's when I took more notice and started to follow the Lifestyle Plan.
It really is easy to follow and designed to fit in with any lifestyle. I soon learned that 'small and often' is the key to success. I used to go all day without eating and then have an enormous meal in the evening. Now I eat smaller meals throughout the day – and the pounds have just fallen off.
My favourite is the split breakfast. I have a bowl of breakfast cereal first thing when I'm getting Eleri ready for the day. Then I have a mid-morning snack – it really fuels me up for the rest of the day and I feel great. The ideas for sandwiches and jacket potato fillings are also ideal for making a quick and easy snack meal.
I still go to class every week, just to keep me on my toes. Marie is so encouraging and I love chatting to everyone and getting tips and ideas. I often think "Oh, that sounds good, I'll try it myself." I've even tried some of the recipes – the Chicken Kiev has become a family favourite.
Slimtone has helped me regain my confidence. I really enjoy the range of clothes that's available to me now. I don't have to hide under baggy T-shirts and jeans, now I wear leggings and fashionable tops and can show off my curves! I really have become a 'Yummy Mummy'!
