Looking for a quick family meal while watching the song contest this evening.  The Slimtone spagetti bolognese is a firm favourite with all our members and is quick and inexpensibe to prepare.

The following recipe is for two servings at approx 400 calories per serving. 

Brown 224g/8ozs extra lean mince in a non stick pan and drain off all the fat.  Slice 56g/2ozs mushrooms, dice one small carrot and add to the meat with a can of chopped tomatoes and a tablespoon tomato puree.  Season  lightly with salt and black pepper.  Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.  Cook 112g/4ozs dry weight wholemeal spaghetti until just tender and top with the sauce.  Serve with parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley.  Enjoy…..
