Simply pop in the vegetables season with ginger, soy sauce etc. and in a few minutes you will have a warm satisying lunch. Roasted sweet potato is really tasty and an excellent low GI option. If you are going Christmas Shopping have the roast dinner which is not only filling but quite a low calorie option.
