Tuesday’s class in Sainsbury’s was really buzzing, so much chatter and banter. Those who did lose were sharing ideas and those who didn’t do so well had lots of encouragement from everyone else.

It was a special night for Slimtone too – our 14th anniversary for the class at Sainsbury’s. Amazing! Thank you so much to everyone at Sainsbury’s for all your support over the last 14 years. We have so many friends in the store and appreciate your smiling faces and helpful manner. Thank you.

We had some great weight losses this week too. And as a special treat to celebrate our class birthday I invited a couple of members to share their success stories.

Alan has lost over 7 stone! Phil has lost over 4 stone and Lynda has lost over 2 stone. They all had such inspirational stories and I know it will motivate all our members – you’ll hear more from them in this blog over the coming weeks.

As well as seeing how great they look, each of them had a top tip to share.

Alan told us that making a shopping list before he hit the shops was a real help – certainly stopped him randomly buying whatever took his fancy!

Phil said his “go to” foods are thin ham, Philadelphia Light and lots of fish and chicken. He also recommended rice cakes for those, like him, with a sweet tooth.

Lynda picked out a new product that has recently hit the shelves – Sweet Freedom’s Choc Shot Liquid Chocolate. She says it’s great as a sauce for ice cream and desserts, but can also be made up as a chocolate drink. Mmmm, sounds good! There are lots of flavours available and she bought it in Holland and Barrett. Why not give it a go!
