Pam lost 4 stone 3 pounds in just one year and loves fitting into fashionable clothes again!

A retired lady living on her own, Pam thought of herself as a typical yoyo dieter – losing a few pounds and then putting it (and more) back on, only to go around the same cycle again and again.

“I desperately needed to lose weight, mainly because of my health. I was suffering with my back and my hip and had also been diagnosed with diabetes. It really was time to change things around.

I’d lost weight before, but it always crept back on. This time I was determined to make it work and I’m so glad I did. I feel great and my diabetes is now in reverse which is a huge incentive to keep going.

I came to Slimtone because Marie is the best around, without a doubt. She is always so encouraging. Even if you’ve put on a pound or so, you’re never afraid to keep coming to class because you know there’ll be hints and tips and support to help you along.

I’ve come to class every week and have had a steady weight loss of around 1 pound a week. That may not sound like much, but over a year I’ve lost 4 stone! I’m so pleased. I love clothes and it’s nice to be able to fit into things and feel good. It’s also helped with my health and my back and hip are so much better.

Slimtone’s Lifestyle Plan is so easy. There’s nothing outrageous, it’s based on everyday foods, like corned beef and chicken – things that we all have in the cupboard. I live on my own and find that I don’t like cooking for one, however there are still lots of options and plenty of variety. I love soups, as well as baked beans on toast – they’re my go-to meals and I can still enjoy them. I also eat a lot of fruit and make sure I drink loads of water.

I enjoy coming to class and meeting the girls. Even if you don’t know anyone when you first come, you’ll soon make friends and everyone is so supportive. And the talks are great every week too. Marie is so patient and so encouraging, as I said, without a doubt she’s definitely the very best around! I’ve still got a little way to go, but am thrilled with my weight loss so far and really feel so much better. Thank you, Marie.
